Normally, I would have no complaints because this is my favourite location of the few Ive visited. However, I noticed that lately the overnight cleaners have changed up their routine a bit; mopping the floors at 9:30 in the evening...they have no courtesy to the members when doing so. Its still busy (approx 20 people) upstairs and they go wherever they please and sometimes literally keep me from continuing my workout. Its either that, or I barge myself in their way. On two occasions, they mopped underneath the bench while I was mid-set. They also did it to another guy in the same fashion. I dont find this acceptable and I could see a few other members a little ticked off about it as well. Please make some changes or communicate this to the night crew or Im considering going to a different location. The other complaint, which is no big deal, is that the dumbbells only go up to 100 pounds while other clubs have heavier. Otherwise, keep up the good work!

In town on a training course. Trained at Goodlife St. Albert on both days and had the good fortune on both days to deal with Daniel at the front. Very personable and a great ambassador for the brand. Inside the facility is clean and there is plenty of equipment at the times I've attended. Look forward to training here again. Thanks Daniel.

This is the gym where the dead or dying equipment seems to go.....too many staff doing absolutely nothing. We were not greeted in any way

I have been a member at this goodlife since a month or two after opening. Since then I have gone about 4-5/days a week consistently usually around 3-7 when its busy. Over the hundreds of hours I have spent in this gym at the busiest hours I have never once seen the treadmills more than half filled. However it's pretty much a guarantee you will be waiting to use squat racks in this gym and sometimes bench. In my opinion they should remove a row of treadmills and add a rig (Like a Rogue infinity rig 2.0). With the rig people could use it as both a squat rack, bench press or pullup bar among other things. They have one at the brewery district goodlife. Not to mention I tend to go into the personal training area because they have the rig that is tall enough for me to do hanging leg raises. The other day I was basically told I'm not allowed to go in there anymore so there is nowhere I can do hanging leg raises. At this point the only thing keeping me from switching gyms is the distance it is from my house compared to other gyms. I will be switching soon.

Worked out at a lot of gyms in St. Albert and Edmonton over the years. I can bike here in 20 minutes from my house. Some guy gave them 3 stars for no bikelocks. Wth? Bring your own. The place is mid sized with a nice balance of equipment for whatever you want to do. It is bright and airy; good ventilation; a nice lay-out and reasonably priced for what you get. St. Albert is fortunate to have a facility this nice. Heres a thought; if you dont like it - go somewhere else. Every gym has its own culture - if Goodlife doesnt fit your culture, find a gym that does. This gym is reasonably priced for what you get. I for one feel fortunate to have a gym like this in St. Albert.
