Where to start. I brought my vehicle here after I was rear ended. Was recommend by a friend. They booked me in about 2 weeks after I got my quote, and had my vehicle for 2 days. When I went to pick it up, they had it backed in, under one of the large trees lining their lot. I looked over things and it seemed to be okay, until I opened the hatch (It's an SUV), and where they "fixed" the damage of the dent cause by the accident, there was raw metal visible that was not painted. I then pulled the vehicle into the sun, and noticed the colour was completely off (yes, it is pearl white and hard to match, but it was a VERY noticeable difference). The guy that was helping me even said, yea, that's not right at all. So then I get booked in for 2 weeks after that for them to re-paint and repair the hatch again. Long story short, they had it for a week, and I got it back. They STILL did not paint in the hatch, and the colour was still wrong. I mentioned to the SAME guy, Why was this not painted again. He said, Oh they told me it was.... Why not check before you make the customer waste their time and take time off work to come pick it up if it's clearly not done properly. The whole ordeal was the WORST experience I've ever had with anything automotive related. I then told him I would be taking my vehicle to the Carstar in Sherwood Park (which is 5 stars btw), to be fixed properly. He made it sound like it was possible but would take a while and be a big issue. He said he would "call to get it started for me". I waiting a week and half and called Sherwood Park myself, who had NEVER heard from St. Albert (big surprise). I took it to Sherwood Park, had it back in 2 days, AND FIXED PROPERLY THE FIRST TIME. And the paint matched! Imagine that! DO NOT GO TO THIS CARSTAR! Every person I dealt with there seemed very shady and like they just wanted the money from my insurance, and to do as little work as possible. Sherwood Park was a million times more professional and welcoming.

Amazing service! Not only did they fix the damage to my truck in a proper amount of time but they also detailed the interior of my truck ( which is my work truck and is literally covered in dirt, not a small job by any means) I would highly recommend going through carstar for services. Couldn't be happier

This place is OUTSTANDING. Incredible, helpful staff who greeted me with giant grins during the entire process. I will never go anywhere else, and will recommend to everyone I can. Picking up my car after 3 days and finding it in perfect shape, and then to open the door and see that it was SPARKLING was SUCH an incredible surprise! Thank you to everyone at the shop and in the office. SO HAPPY!

This was my first time needing Auto body work on a vehicle and they made it very easy! Perfect job repairing the damage and my car was spotless inside and out when I got it back! Awesome experience.

Horrible communication, poor service when we contacted the branch and just overall incompetence. I do not recommend this shop. I gave it two stars only because the finished product was acceptable. We booked the repair and were told that it would be a four day repair but they would need to book it for five days just in case there was a problem. Seemed fair so we agreed so we dropped it off on a Sunday night.On Wednesday afternoon, we got a notice that they were delayed and they hoped to get the vehicle in on the Friday. They said they would get us an update. Friday came and no update. Eventually, we decided to call and see what the status was and we were told that the vehicle was prepped and ready for paint as soon as shop space was available, but no date was given when this would happen. Monday came and still no phone call or email. Again, we had to contact them to get an update. We were told the vehicle was getting painted and that it probably wouldn't be ready until Tuesday.Tuesday comes and we didn't hear anything from Carstar until the end of the day, but they won't release the vehicle because the third party that was responsible for the payment wasn't available to process the payment. We later found out that despite being instructed to call the third party when the vehicle was almost complete, they waited until 3:50pm of the Tuesday to inform them. I arrived at the shop just before closing to see if the payment had been processed and found that my vehicle was still being detailed in the wash bay and that the payment hadn't been processed due to the fact that they waited so late in the day to collect. I could not take my vehicle home.Finally, on Wednesday, a week and a half after dropping it off, I got the vehicle back.

    Amazing service!
