Great food. Perfect place to spend a few hours catching up with friends over brunch
Went for a late breakfast. Very clean and quaint looking place right off st.albert trail. Staff were nice and eager to help but food wasnt cooked properly. Wife had french toast, they took it back and fried it again, even with the syrup and butter already on it instead of remaking the order. Eggs undercooked, came with 1 thin slice of deli style ham cut into quarters with my ham and eggs. Overall, very average.
Tasty and good valued food, with prompt service. Two stars removed for terrible coffee and expensive too. $2.79 for a cup of Jo that I wouldn't serve to someone coming in from a -40 winter storm.
A little treasure..quite hidden..in St. Albert. Quiet..can visit without shouting over background music.. spotless, and a varied menu with comparable pricing. Staff is very friendly..enjoyable. First time eating here..will definitely be back. Give it a try..you won't be disappointed!
I really thought I reviewed this place already... weird.Anyway... this is by far my favourite place for breakfast in St. Albert. I spend a decent amount of time in the southern states each year and I crave biscuits and sausage gravy when I'm home (Don't tell me I can make it myself...that's not the point). So when I found Sunny Street, I was in heaven. You mean to tell me I can get Sausage Gravy AND a basted egg?? (They don't really know what that is in the states).Service is ridiculously friendly and attentive. It can get pretty busy on the weekends, but I've never had a problem getting a table. They recently changed the layout of the dining room a bit and it's much more open now.
