If you are looking for a great bike you owe it to yourself to go and visit Cranky's Bike Shop! I recently purchased my Trek Marlin 5 bike there and this is how I rate Cranky's.Selections of Bikes: ExcellentFriendliness: ExcellentKnowledge: ExcellentService: ExcellentEven if you live in Edmonton, they are worth the trip. Happy Trails to All.

If your looking to buy a good bike definitely go and see Cranky's. I purchased a bike from Craig Jones and it was one of the best buying experiences I've had period. It was nice to deal with someone willing to put time into your questions before they have any reason to believe you are going to buy anything. From the first time I entered the store to the point where I left with my new bike I was treated like I was a loyal customer whom they had known for years. My questions were addressed thoroughly and with exact knowledge. Please do yourself a favour and check this place out before making your final decision.

Great place to shop. I love the atmosphere. Fernando was very helpful and assisted me with getting a great bike.

I bought a pair of bibs (Gore) from the shop and they quickly became my favourite to ride in. After a under a dozen rides, I noticed that a thread was loose and a seam along the thigh was beginning to open. This is no big news, as eventually bibs start to break down in all sorts of ways over time, but so early on in the season, for me, was totally a let down. Before I took them to the tailor or got crafty with super-glue, I thought I'd drop by the shop and see what they could do for me. The lady on the floor took a look and was confident that she could run it by Gore's warranty. A day later I got a call from the shop welcoming me to pick up a new pair of the same bibs. I was so pleased with the help from Emma and co. at Cranky's - all this without a receipt even! The human element...another good reason to support the LBS in the days of online discount bike retailers!!

Pickup and service exceedingly smooth and efficient. Myles was extremely polite and helpful at pickup. Honest service as well. I was prepared to pay for intermediate service but mechanic (Ryan) called me to say would be a waste as did not need that much work and recommended basic service, saving me 60$. Will return for all my needs as well as recommend to anyone else .Edited to add that never had chance to use bike for almost a month after got back. Front tire had a slow leak :( They took it back same day and fixed within 15 min for free. Unparalleled service
