Great food and environment! Our waitress Danielle was super friendly and provided great service. I recommend sitting in her section! We will definitely be going back!!!
Went there with my wife today. Absolutely great atmosphere, very nice and clean restaurant. Even though the Chefs were busy, we got a wonderful kitchen and back of the house tour. Great menu selection. We wish them all the best and ask the community to support them!!! Cheers!
Great place! Friendly staff up front and in the back. Menu looks really good - a mix of Canadian and Irish pub fare including some curries. The hot curry wings were awesome! Specials every day of the week. Very nice draft selection, including AB crafts. Pool tables have been fixed up. Large patio. Owner-chef Pankaj is very personable and will go out of his way to make you feel welcomed. Definitely worth a visit and if I lived anywhere close Id be there regularly. May have to move to St. Albert...
Located in the former Beer Hunter location, this new pub had its grand opening today August 23rd. They were offering a free order of wings with the purchase of a drink so hubby and I decided to check it out. The place was packed and bustling but we managed to find a table easily. Our server came to us quickly and we ordered 2 Connor's beers ($5 each), an order of BBQ wings and an order of hot curry wings.The flavor of the wings waa excellent. Usually other pubs make the BBQ sauce kind of bitter and I end up regretting getting that flavor, but this BBQ sauce was perfectly balanced. The hot curry wings had great depth of flavor and if the wings are any indication of the rest of the menu then we are all in for some tasty grub. My only quam would be the high prices. In terms of portion size, the wings themselves were small compared to other pubs I've been to. As most people in the pub were ordering wings, I cannot comment on portion size of other menu items. I do however, think they should consider offering more specials and deals as menu items are very steep.But all in all we enjoyed the wings and beer! I would only return if there were cheaper specials being offered.
Food and service were great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Food did not have that mass produced taste but rather that it was cooked for me. Our server was personable, and made sure we were taken care of.
