First time having brunch at Toast.We were in St Albert early and looking for something to eat. The name was cute and the lineup for tables was out the door.After a surprisingly short wait we were seated. The menu was amazing and while we made our choices quickly there were so many great sounding options that there were second thoughts.My partner was thrilled to be offered the option of dark roast coffee. His meal was the best full English I've seen in a while, with imported white pudding.My pancakes were amazing. I ordered then with rum bananas and even if bananas are not your favorite, I'd still recommend that option.
If you like breakfast you will love Toast! This charming little restaurant is a family run business (hosted by an Irish family that ran a successful restaurant of the same name in Ireland). Now with two locations one in St. Albert and one in Sherwood Park they are easily accessible for anyone in Edmonton or surrounding area.The food is truly delicious and you can actually get tea by the pot (which if you drink tea like I do it's a big bonus!). The eggs benedict is amazing and always done just the way I request. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys tasty comfort food with an Irish twist! Oh and the service is great, they listen, they are attentive, and they are actually friendly from owner to host!
Went here for quick lunch. The place was packed. I had turkey club and my son had savory crepes. Waitress was very busy but managed to provide attentive service without making patrons feel rushed. I was surprised at how good both meals were. We also got a side of breakfast potatoes that came to our table hot crispy and nicely spiced without being too salty. I would eat here again.
Went to Toast for first time this morning. Food and service was great! If you are looking for a gluten free menu they have it all! Huge and delicious GF pancakes! This is our new go to spot for breakfast!
