I personally cannot even compare other clinic's or physical therapists to Active Physio Works and Kendra Wilson, without a doubt in my mind Active Physio Works, Kendra Wilson and the staff at Active Physio Works is far superior at every level. My first appointment to Active Physio Works was in 2011, and therefore, feel my opinion is of value. My health issues are complicated and I base my opinion on years and years of health challenges and rehabilitation.Kendra Wilson has been a LIFELINE for me. Kendra practices a hands on approach, educating the patient, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise to an individual needs each and every appointment. Kendra's expertise is undeniable, knowledge extensive, her commitment to a patient is outstanding, her passion and dedication ever present, energy levels are very high. Kendra's personality is enthusiastic, caring, and very determined to achieve the best for the patient. Kendra gives you 100% each and every time. Kendra works hard with you demonstrating exercises ensuring you get it right and expecting you to continue daily exercises throughout the period in between treatments to achieve a healthier life and effectively manage your injury. Kendra challenges you and expects you to try as hard as she does, and because of her knowledge, passion, and expertise one feels they want to do their best...that's all one can do! I have to say without any hesitation, Kendra Wilson is the best Physiotherapist I have ever been to. She knows exactly what she is doing at all times. An example is when I told her I had not yet told her (she was telling someone else what to do while working on me), and without talking to me she was working on the exact spot I would have told her was the worst. She is always overseeing and helping people and doesn't skip a beat to whomever she is working on. She is excellent at her job, so good, that I don't want to go to anyone else. If anyone I know needs physio, I would highly recommend her. I wish more people were as dedicated as she is. She really is an inspiration.
I've been to Active Physio for a few issues dating back to when I broke my leg in 2006. I've seen a few different physiotherapists there and all have been excellent. Most recently I've been seeing Michelle for an issue in my neck and she's been a lifesaver. She is very thorough and takes the time to get up to speed on my condition with every visit. I never feel rushed and always feel like my health and recovery is her top priority. Most importantly she's fixed me!! Pain free now and it feels great. I'd recommend Active Physio works and their therapists any day.
My son has used Active Pysio works at Servus for the last 2 years. He broke his left ankle last year and Michelle Rowein was his therapist. She was extremely knowledgeable and with her treatment he was able to be back playing volleyball in 4 weeks. This year he broke his right ankle and starting seeing her immediately. Once again her knowledge of injuries and treatments allowed him to get back on the court quickly and was stronger than before increasing his vertical by 2 inches.
I have followed Michelle for over 20 years, in a variety of locations for a variety of injuries. I am so delighted-that she has settled in with Active Physio Works in Servus Place. I think she shines in her hands on therapy. Having what is a permanent back problem I always walk out straighter and feeling no pain! I love the easy conversations we have, and she is very tuned in to a patients problems of the week and chooses the most appropriate work for the day. I would highly recommend her and have done so to many. I just tell them I have the very best physiotherapist!! A worker of wonders!Thank you Michelle
