An amazing safe and always cared for park. A cheerful part of my day everyday. We are very lucky to have such a large fenced park with water for the animals.
Space is beautiful and now has a fence! There is two gates where it gives you a barrier so you can take your dogs leash off and which is awesome for my girls to smell through before getting bombarded with dogs trying to play. Nice seating area to sit down and wide open area to walk around as well as multiple exit gates all around. Great dog park and great place to take kids as well.
Very easy to escape from for dogs, including larger dogs. Take particular caution in the back (northwest) corner in the ditch near the new buildings as fence does not extend down to the ground at all and leaves a very sizable gap. Very concerning as there are train tracks and trains that run right next to the park.
Nice park. One can walk around the decent sized lake there. There are paved trails around the lake and through the trees. Lake has fish in it which means people can be seen at times fishing there. Plus some nice birds like Terns and Cormorants are attracted to the lake due to the fish as well. Adjacent to the off-leash dog park too. Convenient location in St. Albert near the Anthony Henday ring motorway. Not too many mosquitoes, which is a relief in the summers. Lake has a nice fountain in its centre as well.
Great fenced place for dogs to play and run. Access to water only if you choose through a gate in the fence. Still have trouble walking by 6 piles of poop that others have left behind to pick up after my dog, but overall it's a decent place.
